We know that the software is very easy to use - but I wonder, once you're past the printing phase and are actually building it it - how useful are the plans?? Is anyone at that stage where they can say they're running trains thanks to an AnyRail designed layout plan??

Would love to hear people's experiences!

Well as one of the early users of AnyRail  Wink, I've come further than ever before. I've got all the track layed out, all DCC wiring done, and running my trains completely automatically with an old PC that I connected to my Intellibox (a German brand DCC Central Unit).

If you would like to see some pictures, please go here:

Please forgive me, the captions with the photos are in Dutch.

Wow, amazing pictures! It's really cool how you can see the AnyRail design appear on the final product!
How long have you been working on your layout? Looks like it's going to have plenty of operational interest!

The planning of this layout took a few months. I tried a lot of alternatives, but in the end, I didn't want a layout full of track (in the visible areas). This time, I want to really create some nice scenery.

I started the building of it about one year ago. Currently, it is only progressing very slowly as I don't find much time for it!
