Hi David.
...
5. The train images themselves appear to be scaled for HO. On Z scale
they take up too much room and may collide (to be checked).
...
I hope these points help in the integration of TP with AnyRail.
END OF MESSAGE.
With best wishes,
Chris.
That is still happening when you import an AnyRail layout into Trainplayer/Tracklayer. Now let me add something just as annoying - the import table size is always wrong. A 2 x 4 foot N scale layout imports as 12" x 24". This is perhaps the source of Chris's thinking that the train images are twice the size (HO instead of N).
Update Note: This happens no matter what size the AnyRail table is- a table 65" x 84" comes out as being 36" x 3' 2". I'm using demo versions of both programs (sorry, but the budget this close to Christmas is showing no signs of stretching to allow purchase this month). However, I doubt if this should make a difference in this problem.
I've noticed some oddities/omissions in his manuals and tutorials, but this isn't the place to worry about that.
UPDATE NOTE #2: I've found the source of Chris's problem AND mine. Here's the fix-
1) Go through the Tracklayer tutorial about Aligning the grid.
2) Align the grid for the imported layout.
That's it. It corrects my table size error AND Chris's train size problem.
Jeff (my best wishes, too
