I have be playing with the software and come up with a layout for a 72" x 84" L-shaped layout 32" from the wall look fairly busy according the the materials print out 74 feet of track, what i can't find is where do you get the platform profiles, your all going to say i should have gone to specsavers but i can't find them

I think people use the Hornby Scaledale objects for the platform or to represent them anyway.

Hornby Skaledale is not available in N-scale, only 'OO' and I haven't seen any platform bits in the N-scale standard object libraries (haven't searched the User Objects completely as I don't use N-scale myself).

I just draw rectangles etc. to represent platforms.

Metcalfe do a nice kit that lets you do any shape. It's seemingly straight forward, so then you don't have to worry too much about what shape your platform(s) is(/are) :D
