Bumpers in libraries
«

Hovering over HO Atlas code 100 track # 843: The info in the lower left of the page indicates "buffer". Shouldn't it be "bumper"?
HO Atlas code 83 library: the bumper, item # 518, is missing. I can use #843 from the code 100 library, but it won't connect to any code 83 graphic.
Thanks,
Epo

Hi Epo,
Maybe we should make both a UK and US version!
"buffer" is British, "bumper" is American. We use US English elsewhere, so we might change this to US English as well.
Part 518 is not yet in the library, as it's a click-on item, and has no track of its own. We're still looking for a good way to connect these things to the track.
You can mix track systems when you first go to 'Tools/Options'. Open the 'Behavior' tab, and check 'Allow mixed rails'.

Maybe the solution is to use US spelling/usage for US manufactured track and UK spelling/usage for British manufactured track. (Doesn't help with other European stuff though.)
Best wishes,
Chris.
