Hi David.

Meant to bring this up a while back but it is an irritant rather than a real problem.

When creating or editing text I find that when I move the mouse out of the way the text cursor disappears and I have to start over again. I am sure that this didn't happen in earlier versions.

Best wishes,
Chris.

In fact, as soon as the mouse leaves the work area, the program acts like if "Enter" is pressed.
If you leave the mouse somewhere in the work area, you're OK.

You are right that this behavior has changed. Problem is, that if another program asks for focus, and you return later to AnyRail, you've probably forgotten about the text entry, and wonder why nothing happens when moving the mouse around.

To us, it seemed like a logical thing, but we'll look at it again!

Hi David.

Thanks for the reply. I did say that it was an irritant rather than a problem. It's just that it catches me every time as my automatic action once a box is openned is to move the mouse out of the way. I guess I will get used to it eventually and it will no longer be a problem.

All the best,
Chris.

Well, if you move the mouse away, but not out of the AnyRail window, you should be OK.

Hi David.

Ach! I'm making a fool of myself! I work with AnyRail at full screen so thought that your point did not apply. Anyway, I just tried it again and, guess what; I was moving the mouse so fast that it went into the taskbar! Anyway, thank you for helping me resolve what is my problem, not yours.

Best wishes,
Chris.
