Hi David.
Only just came across this one; I have just bought a few.
8598 Isolating track, 110mm (similar to 8588).
I've given up with gradients. I just made a slight adjustment to the high level branch on my layout. Set height of new track to correct level and inserted. Whole layout goes to high level! Undo and try again. This time the whole layout went to 0. :o(
Best wishes,
Chris.

Thanks, we've added the Marklin track for the next version.
About setting the heights, we're investigating a better (and clearer) way to handle them.
David.
