Hi David,
I am working on a large layout and have to try things to see if they would fit into the irregular space I have available.  I came up with a plan which I then found would not quite fit, but if I had been able to "flip" the plan (ie a mirror image) it would have fitted.  The term "flip" is used by other software I useto manipulate photgraphs, and it allows the user to "flip" either vertically or horizontally.
Not a feature I would use every day, but it could be useful if available.

This feature has been asked for before, but is quite difficult to implement.
In some cases, it's even impossible as not every part has a mirror counterpart.

So it's somewhere on our list, but until now it did not get a very high priority. Please let us know if more people would be interested in this.

Flip has been introduced in version 3.9.0.
