I already emailed on this topic, but I think it also deserves a forum post.

Recently I bought a remote control Lego train and the track for it is 4 main sections: straight, curve, left turnout, and right turnout.  Figuring the turnouts would be hard to reproduce in a CAD drawing, only scanned images of the straight and curve are shown with appropriate measurements (compare to the ruler in each photo).

As stated in email, straight track is 5 inches long; curve section is 12 1/2 inches radius, 22.5 degrees angle.

Does anyone else using anyrail have the Lego trains?

Hi LGB fan!

Well, as Lego comes from Denmark, it's quite well known across Europe! Also these trains. There's even a Lego train group here in Holland.
Here's a great website. It's in Dutch though, but it gives a nice overview.
And here for Belgium.

However, there are various versions of the track. The track that you mention here, and some older, blue track.

Anyway, if you could send us a scan of the turnouts as well, we'll be happy to add it of course!

I had to re-scan the straight and curve tracks because I had the ruler at the top of each image.  Here are updated straight and curve scans.

Is there a way to increase the maximum size for attachments, as I had to separate the track scans into 2 posts?

Here are the turnouts, again with the ruler at the bottom.  The right-hand turnout is the one with the curved leg pointing left.

We've added Lego 9V track in version 3.29.0 of AnyRail.

I could have forgot to mention that the Lego RC tracks are the same gauge and dimensions as the 9V tracks.  Seeing that I posted scans of RC track and because I own both types of Lego trains, it's true.

OK, so we can easily add them.

I guess that the blue 'old' track is different, at least the turnouts. Do you know more about those?

The last pieces of information I came across about the blue track is that it's either from the 12V or 4.5V system and it has a variable gauge.  Making the 9V and RC tracks fixed gauge was probably the best thing Lego did to help train sales.
