Possibility of importing external symbols

Hi David.
A while back I mentioned the idea of including signals in addition to track pieces. I also seem to remember someone suggesting being able to import one's own images though I cannot find it so it may be a figment of my imagination. Currently I am indicating signals using teh line/surface tool but the result is very crude. When I was working with my previous design app., I used Coraldraw to create the standard symbols for the main types of German semaphore signals and then placed them in the appropriate positions on the plan.
What would be excellent would be the ability to import GIF images with transparent backgrounds into a plan and then manipulate them in teh same way as a piece of track.
Best wishes to all,
Chris.

Importing external pictures to AnyRail is one of the things we're currently investigating.
That way, you could easily rebuild some part of Google Earth, add your own trees and buildings,
or anything else you might like.
Scaling however might give ugly results.
Please know that we're working on it!
David.
