Notes #
A plain text notepad is added on the Home tab.
Show tab #
The Show tab has more options to switch certain aspects of the track plan on or off.
Images #
Handling images is easier in AnyRail 7.
An image is always loaded onto a surface. Resizing an image has become a lot easier with Follow outline checked.
With this function on, the surface is made rectangular, and when resized, the image is resized along.
Connections #
Imperfect connections have a small red diamond on them. This means that the connection is there, but there is an overlap, a gap or a kink between the two track ends.
Track coloring #
1. Coloring with Centerline selected on the Show tab. #
Roco Line with roadbed example
Only a line is displayed. In case of a section, the line is drawn in the section color.
2. Coloring with Track selected on the Show tab. #

Roadbed #
If the track system has a fixed roadbed, it is always drawn in its true color. For sections, the area between the rails gets the section color.
Sleepers #
Sleepers are not displayed.
Rails #
For non-sections, the rails color comes from the default colors in File / Options / Colors.
For sections, the rails color is the section color.
3. Coloring with Detailed selected on the Show tab. #

Autoconnect #
Autoconnect makes track snap into position when connecting to other track. It triggers when the other endpoint is within a certain distance. This distance can now be set on the Settings tab.
Lines #
For lines, the outer points are indicated by a double circle.
