I don't know about v9 or v10 - its not even clear what's going in v6 yet.
I certainly hope Jeff's foretaste of v10 never comes to fruition.
We've already got a version which does all the design for you - just post a blank canvas and ask for help and HJ, Jeff and Mike, with occasional help frpm others, will magically produce a finished layout for you

How about room, board *and* commission?
I'm not sure exactly how long you'll have to provide the room and board, I've been working on my 48 sq ft (three 2'x8' modules in an "L" shape) for perhaps 3 years (since Anyrail v3, at any rate) and the most of track is down (and actually runs smoothly), much of the wiring is done and there are not quite a dozen buildings sitting on the layout roughly where they go, once I get around to scenicking (and I decide to use them)....
I'd take a time lapse video of the progress, but folks would think it was a still photo....
@Mike: Ah, but you're not really trying - you're taking it far too relaxed, not like HJ. I'm quite expecting him to come up any day now and say he's contracted CP to run a siding into his place for all the rock deliveries.....
