All those handlaid 2m turnouts I've been building are done and out on the layout. Now it's on to assembling rail and tie strips. The weather is typical for April, one sunny day followed by three with rain. The weeds are growing full blast. >:( >:( >:(

really fantastic work, Hans
looking good
you are going to have one wonderful railroad there
thanks for sharing the photos
it really helps one appreciate the dimension and work involved
I hope there will be more sun-shining days and less rain
anyway, isn't that (i.e. the weeds) what ballast is for? ;-)
enjoy!
Gary
I check in every once in a while, but since the big push is on in the garden there was not enough time to comment on a few posts, however c'est la vie. Priorities to get things up and running which means a lot of physical work - shoveling gravel and carrying rocks etc. etc. ::) ::)
Hans...I hope your garden railroad is coming together nicely
the photos and text about turnout construction and track laying
sound quite wonderful
enjoy!
Gary
