Title: Version 5.25
Post by: David on February 10, 2016, 06:01:22 PM
Hi all!

The first update in 2016 has:
New libraries:
- LGB pre 1992.
- Playmobil RC.

Fixes and additions to these libraries:
- N Peco Setrack/Streamline
- N Kato Unitrack
- H0 Mein Gleis
- H0 Atlas Code 100
- O Lionel Fastrack
- Z Rokuhan
- S American Flyer

Aside from a few bugfixes:
- Text fields on the Ribbon now size with your text, so when you've very long descriptions, they'll be displayed in full
- Imperial nudging :). Selected track can be 'nudged' using the arrow keys. Keep SHIFT down for a tiny nudge. A normal nudge is 2mm, a small nudge is 0.5mm. Now, when you're using inches, AnyRail will adapt this to 1/16" and 1/64" respectively.

Have fun!

Apparently many people encountered problems with this version.
There were freezes and crashes reported by some users.

This seems to be related to the autoscaling text fields. This change has been rolled back in update 5.25.2, in the hope that this resolves the issue.

Since installing the last update (yesterday) 'anyrail' closes without warning (or the opportunity to save!) after around 30 minutes. OS=Windows 10.

Also the desktop shortcut icon has disappeared, I've been reopening from the main menu. Altho I'm shown here as a 'newbie' I have been using anyrail for several years an have updated many times without problem

Did it for me once today before I saw the 5.25.2 availability notice; problem gone with this level.

AnyRail does autosave every ten minutes. To find your saved work, start the program, then go to "File/Help/Autosave folder" to find the saved files.
