Hy All,

I am a new user of anyrail!
How can I use THIEL parts? (https://www.thiel-gleis.com/en/pricelist/pricelist)

Thanks for notifying us. I contacted the company for the required info and once we have it the track elements will be added.

One more idea: can you ask geometry from the company? Curved turnouts are very complicated...

Thiel lists the radii for the curved turnouts along with the segment of the curve.
e.g. Innenbogenweiche, R.2 76,5 = 45° x 117,5 R. 3 = 30°

There is no clear geometry concept for Thiel track.
You will just have to span gaps with flex track.

There is only one return curve for both the turnouts 1781/91 and 1801/11.

These turnouts have an angle of 12.5º and 15º respectively. The return curve has an angle of 13.75º. So you will
have to create a slight kink in the connection of 1.25º to return to parallel.

To do so, untick 'Autoconnect' on the SETTINGS tab, and position the track manually.

Instead of using the Thiel pre-cut pieces go with their flextrack.
Buy in the longest sections that can be shipped to your location at the most reasonable cost.

BTW as far as geometry goes, in my view they use the same geometry as one finds an the real railroads.
For standard turnouts, the diverging route has a straight track through the frog, many of the other mfgs have a curve through the frog, which isn't the rule on the prototype.

Thanks your advice! Yes flex is more economical and practical choose.
