I don't suppose there is anyway I can make the display in the program only show the track I actually have?
Go to Files then Options and then libraries
I assume you mean that you want the Track Library to show only those components that you actually possess. The Track Library won't do that, but you can make your own, in a way.
I always have a nominal 100mm margin around my plan. So what I would do in your case would be to place the components that you have in the margin, and then only move those into whatever combination you can.
