Is there a location on AnyRail 6, where I can ask the program to erase sections of track? I have a branch line that runs through several switch backs and climbs a grade, that I want get up close and detailed in it's description.
Also, how do I draw lines that aren't on the 1 foot lines. I would like to draw a Car Ferry on my track plan.

Is there a location on AnyRail 6, where I can ask the program to erase sections of track? Click on each piece with ctrl held, click a piece and extend selection or highlight by left click of mouse and capture then hit the delete key. I have a branch line that runs through several switch backs and climbs a grade, that I want get up close and detailed in it's description.
Also, how do I draw lines that aren't on the 1 foot lines. Likely you have snap to grid box checked in behavior under the settings tab. I would like to draw a Car Ferry on my track plan.

If you want to hide a set of track instead of delete it, you can use the "layers" and put the branch on one layer, and main line on another. Then turn the layers on/off as desired. Even works with scenery or anything else you want on it's own layer.

In many cases you can simplify this by clicking on the first piece, then press shift and click on the last piece. This action will select all pieces in between. You can then simply press delete or apply any other attribute such as height, for example.
In case it's not apparent, both of these methods use standard Windows methods for selection, no different to words in a document or cells in a spreadsheet.
