Hans,
Are you in danger from the flooding up that way?

With the quantity of rock he imported, he could build a levee that would make David's countrymen jealous...

I wouldn't tease until after I'd heard his response, except I recall a webcam shot he posted  that puts him well up the side of a hill and it looks like mud slides (or rock slides, for his neighbor downhill) would more of a concern than flooding.

Thanks for the concern, Gentlemen.

We're OK, as Mike noted we're up on a hill with very little that could slide our way above us. But we had lots and lots of rain - records have been falling e.g. our area got 2/3 of the normal monthly volume for June in one day. Remember this here is semi desert.
I'm sure you've seen reports of what's happening in Calgary, in the Foothills and the Rockies. They call it a 100 year flood.  :o :o :o Both CP Rail lines through the Rockies are washed out.  :( :(
The rain stopped but there are thunderstorms in the forecast i.e. no rail fanning. I'm getting a bit antsy about that.  :-[  :D

Yeah.... I meant to lecture to you about that.  *I'm* getting a bit antsy about no new videos....  :)

Glad to see it confirmed that you're house is still on the hill and not down in the lake.  Actually, I wondered for a bit about the iron empire in your yard, but decided that, if it could survive a Rocky Mountain winter, it could survive the rain, as well - even it would be more appropriate to run the Swiss submarine fleet than it's RhB one for a while.

Hans,

Glad to hear the only issue is you getting antsy.

Getting antsy is one step from getting cabin fever. :D ;) :D

Mind you not that there's a lack of projects, but it would be nice to get out there and chase after trains.
