Sheesh, I've had that for many years already. As I mentioned on occasion: there are advantages to CAD software.  :o :-X

Yes, I know how much you love your cad software :-) . In fact, I spent some time with your favorite, but I just didn't love it. It didn't have a friendly feel. All else aside, I go with friendly software. Anyway, as long as I keep at it, it can only get better.

Speaking of missing in action, where the heck did everybody go? I get a computer up and running and now nobody wants to talk....  :^P

Well that's what happens when the weather is good, time to head outdoors and enjoy. Then head to my buddy's to operate his huge layout - starts at 19:00 sharp and is also nicely ACed, otherwise I'd stay home.
Missed the last session when the resident DCC guru (Who Knows Almost Everything About DCC) had a Cornfield Meet with a stationary train .... hate when that happens and I'm not there to see it.  ;D ;D ;D

Present temp 91ºF, 15% humidity i.e. toasty toasty!

Well, I hope he wasn't injured. Today is my day for a collision with a NON-stationery wife. She's in Cataclysmic Cleaning Mode and those who value their lives had best cooperate smartly or run for hardened blast bunkers. I may get time to eat breakfast, but lunch is a goner.

p.s. I think I'm going to start up the A/C... It's humider than it is hot, but it works for me. If I'm about to lose a whole day, darn it, I'm at least going to be comfortable! I wish I could get on to other things, here. I bought an LCD monitor yesterday for $5 and I want to see if it works. Gawd, I love yard sales!

Ahhh I should be more precise. The resident DCC guru managed to have a Cornfield Meet by ramming the train he was running (being engineer and conductor, the fearsome One Man op) into a stationary train with three very nice brass engines at the head end. Such is life!  :D :D :D

Today I was out chasing real trains left at 06:00 got back at 22:00 i.e. long past my dead time. But I was so busy observing what they'll do at a most inconvenient location after the lead engine on a fully loaded intermodal train died. If 8000HP is just enough to get the train up the canyons, 4000HP will certainly not do it. Lots of good video today!

I think my comment stands... I hope he wasn't injured! If those were MY brass engines, he might want to exit until I cool down O:-) .

Weather - 70 F, 98% humidity :-P
