Leaving for the UK for two-plus weeks, starting tomorrow.  Stops planned for York (British Railway Museum) and Ft. William (riding The Jacobite - "the Harry Potter Train"). Also stops at every distillery we pass north of Edinburgh but I'm driving so I haven't told my family about *that* plan - they might not agree....

Well, have fun up north in the Scottish mountains! And don't forget how you should wear the kilt :)

We'll be expecting progress reports when you stop for tea (4pm for you Connecticut types). Just think how nice it would be if you had arranged 'Shed visits' [roughly analogous to roundhouses, except they're not round]. Of course it would be nice to have good weather, too, but in Scotland it doesn't happen often (or so my friend there tells me :) ).

Back in the USA....

Jeff, the weather was amazingly good - rained only twice (briefly) when we were out doors.  Once in London and second at perfect time - as we visited Tantillon Castle on Scottish coast.

As for sheds, try the one pictured below (National Railway Museum at York).  I'll let you figure out which is (in) the shed and which the castle.... :)
