Up until now we have over 1000 user objects that you have shared. Thanks a lot!
I'm sure many people are very happy using them.

Great Discussion  :)

I create a lot of custom or imaginary UDO's.  Consequently I find it useful to create UDO's of sub-images such as chimneys, ladders, pipe valves, skylights, etc.  As explained in the discussion, these items can be added to a new UDO and when the new UDO is complete, grouping all of the new images and sub-UDO's into a single UDO.  You can also place a sub-UDO like a chimney and if it doesn't seem "right', explode the sub-UDO, scale it or stretch it until it works well with your new UDO image.  One of the things I like best about AR is the flexibility!

Where do I download these structures and scenery?  I just bought Anyrail a few months ago.
Thanks

Start AnyRail, open the USER OBJECTS tab, and click the download button there.

Thank you!  I wasn't patient enough for the items to download.  :)
Thanks

There's a bit of User Interface problem....  When the download new items window opens and even before it starts comparing the objects on AR's website with the objects on the User's computer, the message defaults to "There are no new objects to download".  And, unless one looks at the counters in the lower left corner, there's no indication that isn't a static message.

It would be better if that first message was "Checking for new items" and that changed "New items found" when the first item is found (or, as currently occurs, the data about any new item) or, when the comparison is completed, to "No new items to download" if there are no new items.

Best yet would be to place greater focus on those counters, so the message was something like"Checked nnnn of 1777 objects.  New objects found so far: nnnn" but, given the multiple translations required, that may be more luxury than a benefit.

Doesn't sound too practical to do streets as an "Object." Too many variations.

Usually using a line, which can be both widened and curved to taste works best. Same with sidewalks.

Have fun.
