Layer window: Remember sorting order

Surely not the highest priority, but also maybe a "low hanging " fruit: Persist the sorting order of the layer window. Why? Well, if the label of each layer starts with the height value (as it does in my network) then the default sorting direction is upside down as compared to the real world: The lower numbers or topmost. It is great that this order can be changed, and would be even greater if this change is stored even after Anyrail is shut down.
And the perfect solution would be, that the sort order as of the layer window is also considered in the drop-down layer selection (for each object) in the ribbon  :)

I use an artificial numbering scheme at the start of each layer name, so I can arrange the layers in any order I want.

Well, that would not work well for me as I already have two numbers in my labels (the relative height above the lowest level and the absolute height in brackets) followed by a description text, so a third number in front would make it more ambiguous (and longer: in the object layer drop down already now I cannot see the full length of the label).

One of the image editing programs I use (Paint Dot Net aka PDN) handles layer pane ordering by allowing the user to use the mouse to move/re-position a layer entry within the layer pane - up or down as the user wants.  No need for name "conventions" to sort the layer pane into some order.  I really love that ability and use it constantly.  Would be nice if AR had that capability.
