T-TRAK-Z layouts are composed of individual modules with track that snaps together to form two parallel rail lines which are operated as independent mainline circuits.  The layout is designed to have 2 rows of modules arranged along a standard 30" wide banquet table.  The modules are normally made of 4 wood sides and a top surface of either wood or foam.  Modules are 2-3/4" tall with adjustable legs to allow for leveling at a height of up to 4".  The modules are varying widths, based on the track that will be used on them.  And the depth of the modules are set at a maximum depth of 10 5/8" or 270 mm.  Normally, module depth is kept at this dimension to create a "cable trough" between the 2 rows of modules on the table.  The 2 parallel tracks are mounted so that the  front track  is 76 mm from the front of the module to the centerline of the outer track and the centerline of the two tracks are 25 mm apart.  The full specs for T-TRAK-Z can be found here:  http://ttrak.wikidot.com/t-trak-z

Image 1 shows my modules and how they are arranged when using at home.
Image 2 shows a typical single module.
Image 3 shows how several modules from several individuals are combined at train shows to form a much larger layout.

The underlying premise is to have manageable modules to display at shows and to engage the public by running trains and promoting the use of modules and Z scale in general.
