Apologies if this has already been requested but it would be extremely helpful if when cutting flex track the two resulting lengths were automatically disconnected unless of course there is some underlying reason why they should stay connected.

David

They currently stay connected to avoid breaking sections (when they exist).

Thank you David. I knew there would be a reason but could there not be an option in settings, for when not using sections, for auto-disconnect ?

Also, why would one want to cut flex and not remove one of the cut parts?

I can think of at least one occasion when I would cut flex but leave it in place. Using DC control and insulfrog points, I like the isolation points to be a certain distance from the points. So I would probably cut the flex at that point and insert an isolator, rather than mess about measuring pieces. Bear in mind that, if you are using flex, it doesn't matter where AR show the joins to be, you're going to use the longest pieces of flex that you can (otherwise, what's the point of using flex?).
