I make a lot of modular benchwork and it would be nice if the "Snap To" command included the connecting points on object so the corners would match exactly rather than zooming way in and then manually dragging the second obect corner over the first object, etc.

While you move a control point, please hold CTRL and you'll see a blue 'snap' point, which is the nearest logical point to snap to.

Yes I see the point, but it will not snap to another object only the grid. I want to snap several objects to each other, not to the grid

David

If you hold CTRL while you move a control point of a line or a surface, it should not snap to the grid.

Instead, if you're near enough another object, you'll see a blue dot where the point snaps to if you release the mouse button.

Maybe you're using it in another way?
