Hello all!

This version has updates for the following track libraries:
- N Minitrix
- N Tomix Finetrack
- TT Tillig with roadbed
- G Piko
- O Atlas 3-rail

A few minor things have been fixed:
- Rendering of hidden track in 'line only' mode fixed
- The radius for the 'Insert circle' function is now really the radius, not the diameter  :-[
- When adding a point to a surface or line, the new point gets selected automatically'
- A crash when selecting all points of a surface and pressing Delete is fixed
- Hopefully the problem where AnyRail drops user settings is solved (this only happened with a small number of users)
- The software should run a few percent quicker after many internal improvements

Enjoy!

David.

Dear David or anyone who can help with this:
All the track libraries have disappeared from the toolbar except S and N.
While is this not a pressing issue, being currently modeling N Scale, I am just wondering what happened (i.e. is it my computer or did i end up with something unistalled during a *check for virus/walware/tracking files*).
Thanks so much! AR is the best software, ever!
Sincerely,
Gary L Lake Dillensnyder

Gary,

Go to File> Options and select the libraries you need.

This is just the issue that we wanted to solve! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please follow RhB_HJ's instruction.

With version 4.22.1 you might lose some of your user settings.
Version 4.22.2 tries to preserve your settings when upgrading from version 4.21 or lower.

By the way, did the redraw slow down a lot?

I am also getting partial redraws, occasionally, but they go away when I drag the mouse over the area.

Indeed Bill!

There might be yet another insignificant patch soon that does not slow down the redraw as much.
However, on a modern PC it's hardly noticeable.

:'(I have just tried to update my version to 4.22 but it fails to install. It is downloaded successfully but then says that the file size is wrong and goes no further.

BritsTukker

Richard, I suggest you just try downloading again. Worked OK for me about 2 hours ago.
File size for 4.22.3 is 12713472 bytes (12.1 MB).

Sucess!

Jeff

@Future-Digital,

Yes to both your queries. I didn't see the redraw drop "a lot", but noticeabley. The new version fixes most of it and after polishing, it should be the same as the old one.

Richard,

I, too, have had this problem, but it turns out it is my computer, not AnyRail, for me. Have you tried a different browser?

David,

I really, REALLY wish I had a modern computer. I keep asking Santa Claus, but he keeps bringing children's bicycles instead.

Really? I thought it was socks and maybe, on a good day, chocolate covered cherries... :(
