I don't bloody believe it. AnyRail just hung up, couldn't get out of it without going to task manager AND THEN I try the "Auto Save" folder to retrieve the last modification which it shows is 04/02/2012 10:02PM! Sooooo why would it only show the file from February-‎04-‎12, ‏‎9:54:01 PM as the last one???? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

AR makes a copy every ten minutes, but only if you make changes. So each time you make a change, it checks whether 10 minutes have passed since the previous autosave. If so, it saves your design.

Please let me know what you did to hang up AnyRail!

Hi David,

That's the problem, I don't know. No indication, only the "not responding" out of the blue. ??? ???

No, this was only the second time within a year. I'll try to pay more attention now - some of the moves doing planning are almost automatic -  just in case.

Hello David

I have had two such events within the last three months (Windows 7, 64 bit)
I would say it was during zoom in and out with the mouse scroll wheel.
But I am not really sure about it.

Next time I will report immediately with a fresh memory...

Believe it or not in the last two days at least five times.

Latest episode when "Cut flex here", I tried to cut the flex three times and insted of cutting in the spot it moved way down the tangent which then showed in red i.e it made the piece of track longer.

That "cut flex" function is all over the place and it takes several attempts to cut it in the right spot, doesn't matter what the zoom ratio is!

David,

I've hung up AnyRail 4.24 several times - by pounding away at the undo button (Control Z) probably more times than there were do's saved to undo.
