Australian measurements are predominantly in mm rather than the European usage of cm. It would be nice to have an option for mm.

David

Metric millimeters, right  ;)

We will investigate how difficult it is. If it's doable, we'll add this as an option in a future version.

Hi David,
I agree with bizrools, the number of times I've had to redo the flex lengths after entering the length as 600 thinking it is in millimeters only to see the length highlight and disappear out of my screen. My usual expression of "DOH!!!" often follows.
It would be handy for us down under but not essential.

If I remember correctly (from my uni days 40 years ago) the SI / ISO system works in powers of 3, i.e. km, m, mm, um, nm, etc., and deprecates cm, i.e. grudgingly permits its use, but please try to give them up.

Marklin works in mm for track lengths but use cm for layout sizes and rolling stock lengths in HO and 1 scale.
Fleischmann, Minitrix and Arnold (all recent catalogues) in N scale use mm for everything except layout sizes.
Come to that AnyRail quotes all my track lengths in mm.

Hope that all can help persuade your coding team David.

With best wishes,
Chris.

A new option to see all measurements in millimeters is available in the latest version of AnyRail (3.14.0).
