Hi there!

I am a new member here. AnyRail is a great thing! I use it to plan my future layout.

I think I can suggest something.

1. When I drag a track piece from the track panel to the workspace and when I accidentally drag it to the menu panel above or back to the track panel or to the status bar, I can't drag it back to the workspace. It's not a very serious problem but I think it would be nice if you fixed it.

2. I think if I could paint the tracks from different layers in different colours, it would be great. For instance, when I want to buy new tracks, I use AnyRail to plan a scheme because some track pieces that I have already bought are to be put in another place after new pieces arrive. Usually I create a new layer in AnyRail for a new group of tracks but all layers look the same so I mix them up.

3. It would be nice if I could see a total number of the selected track pieces and a total number of all tracks in the status bar.

4. I can translate your homepage into Russian. :)

Hi!
By 1., you mean that the part disappears from the work area? It should be possible when you zoom out a little bit. The problem is that when you move the mouse out of the work area, the part would be placed in no man's land if you released the mouse button at that time.
2. Colors are now used for sections, i.e. stretches of track that are individually isolated and powered. What you can do is give sections on the same level a similar color.
3. The bill of materials is in the File/Info pane. You probably want to see the part count because of the 50 part limit?
4. Great! Please send me an email (info@anyrail.com) for the source text to translate.

No. When I drag a track piece from the work area to the track panel, to the menu panel or to the status bar and then try to drag it back to the work area center not releasing the mouse all the time, the track piece is being placed next to the work area border.

It's a good idea!

Yes, it is. But usually I need to know how much items are selected. It's not because of the limit. I just need to count items that I am going to buy to check my order list in a web store.

I've sent you an e-mail. :)

Well I think I have one more wish.

If I need to remove an isolator, I can do it only using a pop-up menu. I think it would be better if I could do it using "Delete" key.

You could also use the "Hidden" option to define sections you've not yet bought. I use the Sections idea as David already suggested, but messing around with isolating sections etc can get annoying when making multiple changes, so using the simple Hidden checkbox for selected pieces could be even easier... Just a thought :-)
