Weird problem, at some location in the layout, I cannot connect 2 points with a flex. I don't understand why.
I have attached the layout. I'm trying to connect the points 413,104 and 394,179.
I'm probably doing something wrong, but what? ;)

Hi Peter,

Welcome on our forum!

You probably have a very common problem: the flex that you try to connect does not have the correct height.

The points that you want to connect are at -5, while a new piece of track is positioned (by default) at a height of 0.

You can do one out of two things:
- First put the new flex track at -5.
- Upgrade to version 3.16.1, where this annoying issue is resolved (the track will automatically be put at the correct height when you connect it).

Hope this helps,

David.

Thanks for your quick response David!

I already thought I was overlooking something very simple ;)
I have upgraded to the new version and now it works, thanks!

By the way: how fast do you put new versions online? I just upgraded this afternoon to 3.15.2 ;)

Happy to hear it works now!

We prefer the 'regular small updates' path, rather than the 'yearly release' approach.

So, we normally have a new version every 4 weeks or so.
In between, we sometimes have a bug fix release or two.

You can always check the 'Help/Check for updates' menu to see if an upgrade is available.
