Hi all,

The user objects are a huge success!
We have over 650 user submitted objects, and the set has been downloaded by almost 100,000 users.

Thank you all for the work you put into them.

David.

OK, Dumb Question ... Where are they?

David

Start the program, and open the 'User objects' tab.

If there's nothing there, click the 'Download new items' button.

And, if there is something there, click the button anyway - there may be new UDO's to download....

Precisely, try the download every time before you start prepping a new object to upload. I don't know about you, but at my age I don't want to reinvent the wheel.

OK, I successfully downloaded a bazillion items and libraries.  But now, how do I delete the ones I don't want to keep, and if I delete them, will they just download again every time I click download?

I figured out how to delete them and prevent them from coming back, unless I want them to come back!

You can add that under tips and tricks.  :D

I thought about doing that, but then had some reservations about doing it.

It's not really that hard, will take some time to write out, and I will be happy to do that, if and only if David doesn't have a problem with it.  To do so requires a real good knowledge of your operating system (Windows in my case) & file management, relocating default directories, creating folders and subfolders, relocating files and carefully identifying which files to mess with.  I don't know everyone here, and I'm sure there are many who can follow this without problems, but if you don't do it right, you could really mess up and possibly cause you or David some headaches in straightening out your system again.

I would prefer to wait to hear David's input on this.

I uploaded the Walther's Cornerstone Central Gas & Supply I drew.  Has anyone seen it when they downloaded the latest user objects?

RhB_HJ

Yes, looking good. But isn't there also a pump house with that kit?

That's correct but Walthers doesn't include dimensions for the pump house on their web site.
