How big a layout does one "need" in the garden (or anywherelse)?

Ours is an inverted U shape; the LH and RH arms are 23 and 22m the width across the top is 28.5m. While one can always dream or have nightmares about still more, it is plenty large enough to keep the two of us busy year-round (and then some!) and it's still a-building.

Even ruins need building and  ...

rock needs moving.

Snow needs shoveling......

Are you going to put a (working) set of level-crossing gates across the entrance to your driveway? :-\
Would look very novel and effective - especially if you use 1950's-style English ones 8) 8)

How does one invert a "U", or is it just perspective.

Or are you referring to what my kids call "Dad shaped"?  (wider across the bottom than tall.... a complete lie, BTW..... Well, an exaggeration, at any rate....)

RhB_HJ

You turn an "U" upside down.  ::)

BTW we don't need to shovel the snow, we have a snow blower.
