HJ, your AR-file doesn't give any problems on my computer.

Can you give some more details about your computer. And also for the video-card in the computer. I am thinking about some slow action in the video drivers/card. Do you have a add-on card of are you using the standard on-board video system ?

Separate videocard; ATI Radeon HD 5570
Win7Pro 64bit; 8 GB RAM; i5 2.67GHz; 1920x1080 22" display (LG W2253V).

Try the attached file, it is also acting up on the zoom. Slowly I'm starting to believe it is the size of the plan! 20m wide by 6.5m high.

BTW all the other programs I'm using don't have the "funny" behaviour.

Very strange, HJ.

- The spec's of your system don't show a minimal computer. And you have a good videocard.

- You are not using XP, which can cause slow action as David said.

- I tried your 20m wide plan, it is scolling so fast that I can't see any problem. Acutally, the scroll follows my scoll mouse at max. rotation speed of the scrollwheel.

Oooops looks like it's the batteries. I popped them, reinserted and then it was erratic even on standard page scrolling. Replaced with new ones and it scrolls like it should.

Still peculiar that it would act up in AR but not with the other programs.

Well, I would never have found that bug  ;)

About the others, do you all have new batteries  ;D

Ahh it's a secret start to the wiring module  8)

Yeah well, that's what I thought!  :( :( But it is still a bit flaky; I'll keep an eye on it.

Apropos wiring, nah, that's just for those who need things "a lot clearer"  ;D ??? ;D

New batteries....old batteries....even different mice made no difference. That on Windows Vista 64 ultimate, old computer (2006) but newer ram and an nVidia 9500 gt 1gb memory, AMD single-core 64bit CPU running effective 3.4gHz.

Yes, you may congratulate me on keeping the thing running since I built it in 2003...
