A plan designed for the next step up from the train set. Its main pros are the baseboard is made from an 8x4 ply sheet, cut in half lengthways to provide the 4ft 6in width needed, and the all the points/turnouts are within 15 inches of one edge so can all be operated easily manually. It can also accommodate trains with 4 full size coaches.

More suited to DCC operation as there is a reverse loop
