Can you make the .PDF export so it exports to the "Portable Document Format" version that keeps all the vectors intact? As it is now it is the "Placed Document Format" and everything is output as bitmapped pages. In the "Portable Document Format" version of .pdf everything is on one page and the vectors are retained so when you enlarge the print it is not a bitmap so there is no loss of resolution and it is also on one page so it is much easier to use with large format plotter for printing 1:1

Another alternative to this is have a .eps (Encapsulated Post Script)or a .ai (Adobe Illustrator)

The export to PDF is in fact a copy of what you see on screen, in bitmap format indeed. Of course, internally AnyRail stores everything in coordinates, but no vector format is ever produced.
You can set the scale and resolution to anything you want in the options dialog.
