How do I select small rectangles and lines?

I am building templates for the Tortoise Slow Motion Machines. I am using rectangles and lines for the printed circuit construction. One of the small rectangles I am using is .375" by 1.25" I have chosen each corner and used the x y coordinates to get it the right size, but now I want to move it. However, when I try to select it, the tool keeps selecting just one corner.

I also have very short lines for the solder connections and cannot select the line, just the two ends.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

P.S. once I get them built I will share, I am building a vertical mount and horizontal mount template with the idea that you can position them and then adjust the bench work so they will fit :)

You need to click on the outline of the rectangle.
If the control points are too large and stand in the way, you can make these smaller in the Settings tab.

The key was changing the size of the control points, thanks!
