Double track helix doesn't show correctly in 3d view

I was creating a helix with n-scale double track and specified the start and end heights and the number of loops, 5.5 for example and in 3d view it only displays as 2.5  I also tried 6 and got the same result.  A helix created with single track displays correctly.  Just wondering if this is something worth putting on the future fix list?
