Hi Folks:

Im getting there on getting my layout plan done, and I am beginning to look at designing the landscape around my railroad etc.  Im looking at some of the sample layouts, for example chicago to st. louis, and also Passau -- I would love to be able to control the contours of my landscape so it shows up in the 3d views, as well as the colors etc for the 2d view

Any input you can offer would be a great help

Thanks
TIM

To increase the elevation, create a surface, set the height and then tic Height contour to make it visible with the 3D viewer. You can't tilt a surface, but you can create contour lines.

To decrease the elevation, drop in track. Turn off the track in the 3D view to see just the elevations.

Increase height with a surface. Decrease height with track.
