changing from n to g scale

Seen in thur section of layouts that people have done, like the one by Jeff Partridge, Heavy Rail. I think it is n would like to change to G scale and see what size it would be.  Dont know if that is even possible.  Thanks

If N is 1:160 and G is 1:22.5 . . . . 160/22.5 is 7.11.     If you multiply the dimensions of an N scale plan by 7.11, the result will be the dimensions of a G scale plan.

Could be wrong - maybe some others will have input.
