Odd behaviour with Rocoline Roadbed track elements

I've been cutting and pasting Rocoline (roadbed) track between different layouts, and I seem to have ended up with the SAME track elements being displayed differently in the same layout. Specifically the roadbed around the track is a different width - which looks confusing when I join them together (see attached)

What did I do wrong and how can I "synchronise" the way they look??
