Height requirements for n-gauge

I would like to create overpasses for tracks crossing other tracks, using a bridge or tunnel.  What is the requirement for clearance?

MP 525.25 on the Prosser Subdivision of the North Kansas Division of the MOPAC Railroad.

Yes, the NMRA standards for sure.

Two inches works for double stacks.
Figure 26' for proto clearance x 12 inches = 312.  1/160 of 312 is 1.95 inches.  2" is good.
Simplifies grade calculations - for 2% grade you need 100 inches run for 2" rise.

Except that after deducting the subroad bed, the height of the track, the thickness of any cork or foam, and any overhang of the bridge structure, two inches won't be enough.
