When designing a track plan the software does not alert the user that an S60L or S60R must be used to connect to the diverging route of a #4 turnout or that user modifications are needed to connect other track components. The software accepts any other track component and users may be surprised to find that connection is not possible.

The software lets you do what you want with whatever track you have.  Yes, that's a potential problem if trying to fit set-track and work within that tracks natural geometry, but it also allows much more flexibility if you want to work with a wider range of lengths, angles, etc.  Personally I appreciate the flexibility, but I understand where you're coming from.
