COPYING A PLAN OVER TO ANOTHER PLAN LAYER

When I copied an entire plan over to a new layer in a new plan all the SECTION colors and SECTION NAME info disappear? I painted the entire plan with all layers "on".

Am I doing something wrong?

When using Copy and Paste, section info is not preserved.
