Hi,

As per my suggestions, I have seen them posted before.

About:

Snap to grid: I found this was announced a while ago (may 2008), but the feature is not added yet. This would be quite handy. Any word of update?

Btw: Being able to choose grid colour would be nice too, since on my screen the grid is a bit distracting from other elements whilst the colours are the same.

Background image: Don't know how far you are implementing it, but here's my preferred way: Being able to insert multiple images (anywhere and be able to drag them around) and then lock them to the background so they won't interfere while making your tracklayout. And of course being able to unlock them via the menu.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

nibbo.

Hi Nibbo,

We're currently working on a large makeover. Snap to grid for lines and surfaces is planned to be in there.

We have done some internal tests with inserting pictures, but not really satisfied with the results yet, specifically when scaling. The locking you are talking about will be implemented in the form of layers. All in all, the insertion of pictures needs a lot more investigation.
