Tomix missing pieces

Hello David,

I've done a review of Tomix pieces in AnyRail and created a list of pieces that can be added and pieces that need updates. All pieces should go to Tomix Fine Track library except one chapter that should go to Tomix Wide Tram Track library instead. Changes below require these new translation strings (other used strings are already included in translation files):

• "slab track" (existing alternative: "concrete" but it is already used for concrete sleepers; otherwise none)
• "grass" (existing alternative: "green")
• "fake track" (existing alternative: none)

Missing pieces
These are pieces that are completely missing from AnyRail. Red asterisk (*) denotes pieces that shouldn't be visible on their own but only as part of sets. Please add these new pieces into AnyRail.

Tomix is a bit of a moving target with their renumberings, new items that are sometimes incorrectly announced, etc.

We revised the Tomix Fine Track library in AnyRail 6.48

Were the above changes implemented? I'm not seeing part S175-PT in the Tomix Fine Track catalogue, wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I'm using version 6.55.

Not all of it. We've not added set 91036.

Not really. We can add the track elements, but we will probably not add the building and all the other small decorative parts that come with this set.

The Tomix library is already somewhat overloaded with all the variations on each element (such as the many differently colored bridges). I'm afraid we will reach a point that it becomes unworkable.

There's no need to add any more than just the footprint of the building, which could influence its placement. So two parts: S175 plain, and S175 with a wider boundary for the width of the building? It's important because, as far as I can see, there isn't anything else in the Tomix library that matches the width and length that could be used as a substitute.

As for the variants, I don't know if the present version of Anyrail can handle it, but maybe for Version 7, it could make sense to group all functionally identical parts into one object in the menu, with a colour/variant selection.

For Tomix N, this would group parts 1523/1524, 3051/2/3 and 3257, 3027/8/9 and 3241, etc.
For Kato N, this would group parts 20001/2/3/4/6, 20455/6/7/8 etc.
For Peco HO, this would group electrofrog, insulfrog and unifrog options of each type/radius/etc together.

In all cases, the sub-menu would be subject to filtering as a future option, e.g. remove options that are not concrete sleepers, bullhead rail, electrofrog etc; and ideally it would be possible to switch between versions when right-clicking a piece of track on the model, not just in the menu.
