There is a user-created object I want to use in a layout plan and while I saw it on the forum section for that, clicking on the object seemingly downloaded it directly into Anyrail and it's just sitting there in it's own window, but I can't figure out how to move it into the menu portion so I will have it and be able to use it in any layout I'm working on at the time. Specifically, the item is the N Scale Walthers 130' turntable. I hope this makes sense. Basically, I see that someone created the object that I want to use, but don't know how to *actually use it* in the software.

Never mind - I found when I clicked on the User Objects/Download Newer Items, that it ended up loading a couple versions of the Walthers turntable and roundhouse. Good thing too, because I think I'm going to save putting a turntable/roundhouse on my layout for when I can have a MUCH bigger layout. Looks like I'd sacrifice at LEAST a 2'x2' block of space just for the turntable and roundhouse alone without even counting having several tracks running into the area where I'd locate it. I wanted to build more of a railfanning layout with some sidings and spur tracks and the like for staging locomotives and rolling stock. Seems I'd be better off doing that without the roundhouse for now.

Glad you found it! Yes, a turntable take a lot of space if you want to include everything that comes with it, such as engine maintenance facilities etc.
