Hello! New to AnyRail for about a year, but not new to model railroading. Trying to create a compound rail yard with Atlas HO code 83. As you can see in the attached file there is a problem with angles and how straight the rails are down the line. Am I doing something wrong? Why is it doing this? How do I fix this? Thank you!

David

The problem is that you're using the #6 turnout having an angle of 9.5 degrees, and the 534 reverse curve that has an angle of 10 degrees.

One way to fix this is by creating an imperfect connection at an angle of 0.5 degrees.
This is only possible when you switch off 'Autoconnect' on the SETTINGS tab.

Now, disconnect the track, rotate it by 0.5 degrees and reconnect by carefully dragging it into place the best you can.

Don't forget to switch 'Autoconnect' on again when done.

An angle of 0.5 degrees is hardly noticeable when you lay the real track.

I hope this helps!
