I just spent about 20 minutes answering Southerndude's question.

I thought it might be a good idea to check his profile to see where he was from, to work out time difference etc. Big mistake, because going back from there took me back to his question, but NOT to my answer, which I now have to write again.

Don't know whether it is something that can be fixed, but I'm putting it out there anyway.

I know, it's frustrating. I'll check if the standard forum software has settings for this.

And? This affected me too. Also related to a Forum software issue, when I log in I click forever. Two-three days later when I open the Forum again, I am logged out and have to log in again. Minor nuisance, but it should work as advertised.   :)

Well, the forum is standard software we use, so I can't change much about it!

I don't have the log in problem myself, I stay logged in.

I'm sure you selected 'Forever' for 'Time to stay logged in'?

Perhaps you have some system cleaner running that removes all the browser cookies all the time?

I've just enabled autosaving of drafts. Drafts will now be saved every 30 seconds, but of course your browser settings may block this feature.

Thanks, David!

That should fix the problem I had. The other solution, of course, is not to do what I did!

Cheers,
