Structures in 3D View

If the structure objects would include as a minimum their height and elevation, it would be nice to have simple rectangles or cylinders act as place holders in the 3D view.  The terrain could flow around and under these like it does with the track pieces.

Also, a nice addition would be a set of  road objects that would connect much like the track connects.  Height and slope would be perfect with the ability to insert a point (similar to a cut in the flex track).  Then in the 3D view, the terrain could be drawn with respect to the roads as it does with the track pieces.

Show the turntable in 3D view.

I know this is a lot of work, but it would make AnyRail probably the leading model railroad CAD software.

That would require going through the 3,000 or so user objects and establishing heights for each of them.

You can set a default height for objects with no height. New objects will be made with correct height and some old objects will be edited. You have to start somewhere. 3D are lacking a lot i AnyRail so any improvment are welcome.
