Hey everyone,

As you may or may not know, my future layout will feature an imaginary country.

I was wondering if any of you knew of individuals who were particularly good at repainting locs and wagons to fit new settings?

Having never re-painted a train myself, I wondered how difficult a task it is, and if it might not be better left to someone with more experience in order to make sure in particular the more expensive models I intend to get are repainted to a good standard.

Do you guys think companies like Piko, etc. could be persuaded to sell undecorated versions of their trains? I know in America it's common practice no doubt because of the prevalance of privatised rail, but I have yet to see this taking place in Europe.

Thanks anyone for any advice for you may have.
