Fleischmann Profi Track in HO: Geometry problem

I'm struggling with what seems to be a very simple problem using Profi Track,  but can't seem to find an answer without using flexible track.  I'm trying to connect a parallel double track,  which has a scissors crossover in it,  to a normal double parallel track at the standard spacing.   However whatever curves or reverse curves I use don't seem to fit.  I'm sure the answer is very obvious, but any help would be much appreciated.  I have attached a file showing the problem:   the distance from A to B is not an issue.  I can use flexible track but it seems odd that Fleischmann haven't allowed for this particular combination.

It was a bit tough, at first, to figure out the issue. After having looked at the file, I understand. First off, don't be too hard on Fleischmann. EVERY manufacturer that I have ever seen ignores the situation the same as they do and that includes every scale. Unless you want to go with custom-built / handlaid track, you'll have to use what's available.

To deal with it, you simply have to get slightly creative. See the revised layout I've included. Add the two track pieces (in blue) and your problem disappears, though not the cause. The blue pieces are their extendable track section and will  fill the gaps just fine.

Hope that helps (in some small way)

Hi Jeff.

Tried a couple of times to download your .any file but received an error report when I tried to open it. I am using the latest version of AnyRail (3.35.0).

Indeed, the file seems to be corrupt.

Could you please replace it, or email it to me?

It's an AnyRail 4 beta version file. That's why it doesn't work!

Thanks for all your responses,  and apologies for being off-forum for a few days,  as I have been away from my home computer.

I also can't download the file,  so am waiting for a revised one with eager anticipation!

I'm sorry. I didn't even think about my using the new version 4 to save the file. Here's one that opens with the current version (3.35.0).

hi Jeff,  and many thanks for your suggested solution.   However,  my fault,  I didn't explain clearly what I was trying to do.   What I want to do is to go from the scissors crossover back to standard curve separation (6120/6125) geometry,  which is what the turnout crossover represents.   I have redrawn the problem,  and attached the file.  The distance between C and D needs to stay as it is:  the distance A to B  does not matter.    Having tried everything I think I will just have to use flexitrack to join the two together.

:)    David,  thank you so much!   I guess you're a genius!   I got the 6139 as the best match but even with fiddling the tolerances couldn't get it to work.  Forgot about the 6107!

And my comment stands: all brands have the same issue and all of them ignore it! :)
